Boys are so much fun in the woods...but they pretty much do three basic things:
- Throw things (rocks or sticks)
- Fight each other with sticks
- Make guns
They did find this really cool, hollow tree to stand in. The trick was getting them to stand still enough to take a picture, seeing as there was mud to stomp around in :)
But this little creek was the most fun! It started off as a small trickle down rocks, then turned into a huge carved out area! There was not much water there, and it was easy to step around the deep part. I say that, but Matthew apparently has no depth perception- or he liked stepping into puddles. He was pretty much wet to the knees by the time we got back to the truck.

one of the most entertaining things is to take a bunch of boys into the woods. Looks like they are having lots of fun.... leave it to a boy to seek out puddles and walk in them, to turn sticks into weapons and to throw everything. But didn't you forget that they like to ummm.... water the ground too? LOL
oh BOY! Looks like you guys had WAY too much fun!! :) .... Beth loves puddles too! But when she gets muddy, she wants to change clothes... um, or go naked! LOL!
And you took some GREAT photo's there - the shots are awesome!
