OMG! They are SO much fun!
The first day was great, perfect weather, perfect water temperature- you really couldn't ask for more!
The next two days was rainy, and even when it was just a drizzle at 20mph jet skiing was just not as much fun :(
Joshua was the first kid out, and was bragging about how he and Daddy hit 66mph! But he never went that fast again! LOL In fact, every time he did go out you were lucky to get up to 30 :)
Jeremiah was next, and LOVED going fast! (as only he could) You really couldn't go too fast, or take turns too quickly. Even when Alex took a turn sharply and tossed them off, Jeremiah got right back on and wanted to do it again!
Matt took his turn, but wasn't a fan of going fast, or going at all- he took a short turn, which was good because Beth really wanted to go. But that didn't last long either!
Beth would only ride with her mommy, but didn't like going over 20mph, and kept saying "Go back!"
Alex, Elissa and I got brave after a while, and did competitions to see who could take turns the fastest, and the sharpest, and go the fastest! HAHA
Note:
I loved this Jet Ski because it had a safety on it, so when you got tossed it immediately shut off the engine.

The jet skis look like great fun!!! I think it's wonderful that they are safer now than they were years ago. How funny that the 3 years olds (Beth and Ben) weren't too thrilled with speed or distance. It looks like a lovely lake. Glad you got to go up there! I am really glad Lis and Beth got to join you- what a fun time for everyone.
The jet ski was GREAT FUN!!! Why oh why did we NOT take more pictures that first day, or go out earlier in the day? Maybe because we didn't clearly analyze the weather report to find out it'd rain so much the last couple days .... oh and plus having to get me from the airport on Thursday instead of me getting there Wednesday kinda sucked up that nice sunny day too! Oh well, we were like ducks out there :)
But you can really tell the pictures taken on the cloudy day from the ones taken on the sunny day! Wow you even got a picture of me on the jet ski!
You are gonna have to upload these pics to picasa web album online so I can get all the great ones I didn't get! I don't know why your blog is posting this way, but these are just cropped pix too, so can't get the full one! :(
