We had spent all morning at the park watching the Special Shaped Balloons take off, then thankfully skipped the parking lot of lines full of people trying to leave the fields, by taking the bus :) We were tired enough that most of us fell asleep on the way home, and those who didn't got to enjoy a nap before heading back to the bus for the Special Shapes GLOW!
It was great to watch them blow up in the sunlight where you can look around and see everything, and it was sure a whole lot easier to spot Darth Vader! Of course we had to go see this one fill up :)

This is Jeremiah's "I'm officially sick of you taking my picture mom!" face :) LOVE IT
I will be the first person to stand up in a group of people and announce my sincere distaste for SpongeBob, and I refuse to let my children watch even a minute of the show... yet he takes an amazing picture when they light the flame :)
The announcer would do a "One, Two, Three... ALL GLOW" every so often, as dark crept up on us. As it started getting colder it was fun to snug up to one of the balloons as they pulled the flame. Then, just before dark, the balloons all came down and we were able to enjoy an amazing fireworks show.

Ready for take off!
