We started our trip by visiting the new MOLA Center, which was really cool for the first 40 reptiles you saw... but then I think it became too monotonous.
This picture is with Angela's three girls, and three of my boys. Benjamin stayed home to take a nap with daddy :) Believe it or not, my boys are older then her girls!!
Yes, Jeremiah really did try to pick up the wagon!
I do believe that all the kids were very sceptical about petting the sting ray, Jeremiah watched everyone else do it first before he would even try. The zoo assistant sitting on the other side of the tank had to reassure him that they could not hurt him.
The really fun part about this wing display is watching my kids stretch to reach the tips- and then as the years fly by, they will dwarf the wings they can't fill now.
After 3 hours they were done at the Zoo. This was our last day with a membership- it's really just too expensive since most of the year it's far too hot and humid to be walking around outside.
Stripes and plaid... who dresses this child anyway???
Oh wait... he does :)
We had a really great day though... sunburns and all!

2 HOLLERS!:
Stripes and Plaid... what is wrong with that???
wow- the zoo looks like lots of fun. Of course it really is hot and humid there. Angela is terrific- glad you got to spend some time with her and her girls.
