When we purchased our house we knew that there were improvements we wanted to make, and a lot of things to update. It's a long, slow process, which is obvious to us but maybe not everyone one else.
This week, with my dad in town, we were able to get so much done! We had wanted Dad's help because he knows how to wire for the under cabinet lights we've really been wanting. Dad came with a bunch of design ideas, including color changing lights, and even came up with new inspirations while staying with us!
In the end, Alex and Dad installed 5 new can lights, replaced the sink light with a can, replaced the terrible florescent light with a bar fan/light, and installed the under cabinet lights.
Seriously, Dad would not quit looking for something to do!

We really love it! Our kitchen is so much brighter, and the fans have really been a nice addition :)
The kitchen is looking better and better!
