One of the kids favorite thing to do at Nana and Papa's house was to swim. Thankfully this year I am very confident in all my kid's swimming ability and don't have to worry about them nearly as much.
Benjamin still avoids too much swimming, but loves to get in and out. Most of his "swimming" was shooting people with water guns :)
As another thought, unrelated to Nana and Papa's house... why does it always seem that no matter how careful you are, how much you label all your toys, or how much you monitor exactly which toys are taken out of the swim bucket- each year you buy a new set of toys in May, and by September you've lost them all?!?!

And this very interesting bug was found a few times around Papa's house, it was only scary when it flew in your hair :S

2 HOLLERS!:
That was so cool getting to swim right there in the back yard!! And the Katydid was a cool bug. We found one that made it all the way to the top of our stairs and izzy took it to school for show and tell for bug week!
I love the pool :-) it was really fun to have everyone there to share it with us. Look forward to having you come again!
