Rio Grande

Our big summer trip started on July 5th when Joshua flew to his dad's house in Colorado.

The lady at the ticket counter was really nice, and let all of the boys through security to see Josh off. The younger boys loved riding the train to the other terminal, where we could pick out his plane on the runway, because it had a Moose on the tail, and then watch it take off :)

On July 16th the boys and I drove to my parents new house in New Mexico. It was a long drive, but they were so good!!

The next day we had fun exploring the Rio Grande right by mom's house. Jeremiah was terrified the whole walk down there- complaining about Mountain Lions. Despite us trying to reassure him that there was no possible way a Mountain Lion would travel that far, he sat down crying and refusing to go any farther. Out of frustration we just ignored him and walked on...it didn't take him long to decide coming with us was a better idea :) By the time we reached the river he was perfectly fine, and had a blast throwing rocks, dirt clumps, sticks, and whatever else he could find into the river. They got so dirty!!
