After the boys had their first football games we had a birthday celebration at the TCU Baseball game. Grandpa Dan bought matching purple frog hats for all 9 grand kids! (our own team!)
Jeremiah, Joshua and Anders got to throw out the honorary first pitch of the game...
Anders wanted to hang on to his ball, but eventually got talked into throwing it- he didn't know that in the end you could keep the ball :)
Between innings 4 and 5 all the kids, and some of the adults in our party got to run around the bases. Here they are just dying for the 4th inning to end!
Josh was pretty excited to hold the flag too...
...and here is the last of them making it across the field.
Grandpa Dan even brought us purple cupcakes, and didn't say NO to seconds (or thirds)! What a good grandpa :)
Josh was being such a good sport by playing ball with Benjamin. It was really cute to watch, but of course when I popped out my camera Ben decides it's a good time for refreshment. Oh well.
Look how close we were to the game!
I think 9 innings is a little long for the attention span of the 2-5 year old range, but they quickly found amusement with cardboard boxes and a hill.
This is Anders and his little brother Thomas.

Joshua- a true Snowboarder like his mom!! :)
Matt gave it a good shot too. Actually, come to think of it- he might have been the one to start all of the cardboard fun.
And mommy had to try too :D
By then it was mostly just scraps, and I needed a little push!
