Jeremiah was SO EXCITED to turn 8 this year!
I think a lot of that had to do with getting his very own set of Scriptures, which he has been looking forward to all year- but mostly because he is now old enough to get baptized! We chose to wait until August to baptize him because we were planning a Malone family camp out and thought it would be easiest for my family just to take a week off of work and do both activities :)
I wasn't as creative with Jeremiah's cake this year- but thought it was darn appropriate :)

Jeremiah LOVES Bennyboy, he's a touchy-feely guy, so thankfully Ben doesn't mind the attention. Aren't they cute??! Not to mention look-a likes!
Jeremiah's big moment- his very own set of scriptures with his name on it... couldn't have been happier!
He also got a piggy bank for his allowance, which he starts earning this month :)
The one thing he asked for on this birthday was money, and the family was happy to give him some! He collected enough to buy Joshua's old IPod from Daddy (who had purchased it from Josh when he bought a new one) and that has been the highlight of his birthday!
Nana and Papa helped buy a new suit for him as well- unfortunately I didn't buy that until later, and it's slightly too big, why don't they make suits in size 9? I had this problem with Joshua too...it fits fine everywhere but the length in the legs. Looks like they need to get hemmed :/ If he is like Joshua, his legs will finally grow in about 6 months, but the rest of the suit will still fit for another year, meaning you will see where the hem was in the paints. I can't win!

8) Riding his bike, even to school now!
