Josh went to Cub Scout Day Camp two weeks ago. They made some of the coolest stuff! The theme was Pirates (which is awesome because it's Joshua's favorite thing now) so they made the hat, a rope, a boat, and a sword (made from a dowel and a cut of a pool noodle).
This picture was from his last day, where they were doing an egg drop. The requirement was that it could not be bigger then 4"x4"x4", streamers were allowed, but no parachute- and they dropped it from 75'!
Josh had his packed in this plastic container, padded with packing peanuts (thank you to the nice guy at Pack-n-Save that just gave me a few peanuts instead of making me buy a huge bag of them!), then taped cuts of straws around the outside, with streamers. Joshua even colored his egg to look like a dude sitting in a dentist's chair! (guess his experience getting his tooth pulled wasn't all that bad!)
Unfortunately, his egg broke :(
But it was cute :)
