One of the last big events that the boys did at school was a Field Day.
They started out with a run first thing in the morning, good thing too- because it was already starting to get so hot out. We got to the school just as the different Kindergarten classes were lining up.
Here is Matt all ready to go :)

After Matt's race he sat down with his brother, who was disappointed that he couldn't be in the races :(
We waited around for 1st grade to run, then it was Jeremiah's turn in 2nd grade. Alex found out that he could run with the kids, so he lined up too!
The PE teachers were handing out cards to each boy (blue) and girl (pink) as they passed the finish line. Go Jeremiah GO!
After waiting for 3rd and 4th grades to run, it's finally 5th grades turn! (I guess that's the big down side of having kids in the oldest and youngest classes at the same school) Alex had gone home to change into something a little more appropriate to run in. (Josh is two steps in front of Alex wearing a black shirt with a list of why "homework kills" :D oh, and jeans too... yes, he did know that he was going to run on a hot day, but he wanted to wear jeans anyway...whatever)
Here they are rounding the corner by the side of the school, about half way through. The kid in red is Josh's friend from down the street, who Josh claims is "very fast". I was really proud of him keeping up with Z!
